Neither transmission nor viewing of the information on this site is intended to create or constitute, an attorney-client, or other relationship, between you and eCourt. You should not act or make legal representation based on any information given or supplied by or from usage of this site without first seeking professional counsel. Any Assessments, services or opinions derived from the site, or any person related to it, shall have significance as a reference document only, and eCourt bears no liability for any of the opinions, resolutions, settlements or verdicts that it finds.
The company reserves the right to refuse to advise or help consumers and has sole discretion. It also reserves the right to accept orders on a separate contract form or to limit the type and amounts of services supplied.
Prices:
Prices for any products, services or Assessments shall be the then current prices for such products, services or Assessments in effect at the time of acceptance of an order or in accordance with an authorized and valid quotation.
All prices include VAT but may be subject to adjustment on account of changes in specifications, quantities, or other arrangements, like the inclusion of terms and conditions which had not been part of any valid price quotation issued.
All Submissions and Assessments are subject to availability. Your booking will not be confirmed until both the submission form and the payment have been received by the office. You can either pay online by credit or debit card. In some circumstances, like for Mediation, eCourt may accept payment over the phone, or via post along with a cheque. All prices and information have been revised only up to the date of the latest update.
Refunds:
Refunds may be given at the discretion of eCourt if it is seen that the company is unable to help any party or parties before any work has been done. Once work has commenced on any project and opinions given or Assessors hired then no refunds can be given. If there is a subsequent cancellation and reasonable reason supplied, eCourt may, at their discretion, consider a refund. Refunds cannot be given on false information, or from the sending of incorrect files or documents. Substitute files or documents may be considered if reasonable mitigating circumstances are supplied. For all refunds proof of payment may be required.
Assessment Times:
All Assessments are given as quickly as possible and many are acknowledged within the week, depending on chosen Assessor availability, workload, amount of text supplied and complexity of each individual case. Normally, eCourt would expect adjudications on small Arbitration cases to be given within the week, usually within two weeks, but please allow 28 days after your e-mailed submission acknowledgement before following up. If you do not have an e-mail acknowledging your submission within a few working days, please contact us again. Mediations are obviously more sensitive to administer and usually take longer, being dependent on the parties involved. We reserve the right to swap any chosen Assessor with another of nearest equivalent if due to illness, holiday or any other engagement that makes them inaccessible in the time field required.
Advice and legal information:
All the advice contained on this website is designed solely to give impartial advice to any individual, third party, company, association, or governing body that is seeking dispute resolution on any matter. It is assisting as an aid to resolution only, it is not intended to be used as, or a substitute for, the law of the land. eCourt or its directors may assign its rights and duties under this Agreement to any party at any time without notice to you and/or your approval.
